স্কটল্যান্ডের রাজধানী এডিনব্রা শহরের কোলাহল থেকে একটু দূরেই Portobello Beach। দীর্ঘ বালুকাবেলা, নীল আকাশ আর ঠান্ডা সাগররের হাওয়ার মিলনে জায়গাটা আলাদা এক প্রশান্তি দেয়। এর জলরাশি, দূরে দিগন্ত ছোঁয়া আকাশ, আর তীরে আছড়ে পড়া ঢেউয়ের শব্দ—সব মিলিয়ে মনটা অদ্ভুতভাবে হালকা হয়ে যায়। গরমের দিনে মানুষজন রোদ পোহাতে আসে, কেউ হাঁটে, কেউ সাইকেল চালায়, কেউ আবার কফি হাতে বসে সূর্যাস্ত দেখে।
এখানকার সূর্যাস্ত বিশেষভাবে সুন্দর ল। সোনালি আলো যখন জলের উপর পড়ে, পুরো সৈকতটা যেন রঙ বদলে ফেলে। একা সময় কাটাতে, প্রিয় মানুষকে নিয়ে হেঁটে বেড়াতে, কিংবা শুধু মনটা শান্ত করতে — Portobello সত্যিই এক অসাধারণ জায়গা। 🌊✨

Royal Mile, Edinburgh, Scotland..
রয়্যাল মাইল হলো এডিনব্রা সবচেয়ে ঐতিহাসিক রাস্তা। এই রাস্তা একদিকে Edinburgh Castle, আর অন্যদিকে Holyrood Palace–কে যুক্ত করেছে। দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় এক মাইল বলেই এর নাম হয়েছে রয়্যাল মাইল।
রাস্তার দু’পাশে পুরনো পাথরের বাড়ি, ছোট ছোট গলি (close), গির্জা, মিউজিয়াম আর স্মারক দোকান দেখা যায়। হাঁটতে হাঁটতে মাঝে মাঝে রাস্তার শিল্পীদের গান বা বাদ্যযন্ত্র শোনা যায়, যা জায়গাটাকে আরও প্রাণবন্ত করে তোলে।
এখানে হাঁটলে মনে হয় ইতিহাস আর বর্তমান একসাথে চলেছে। এডিনব্রা এলে রয়্যাল মাইল ধরে একটু হেঁটে যাওয়া সত্যিই দারুণ অভিজ্ঞতা।
