Thai Embassy issues visa requirements following the reopening

Since Thailand Visa Application Centres have reopened and started accepting tourist visa applications from January 10, Royal Thai Embassy has issued requirements for applying for single-entry tourist visa in the post-Covid era.

The new requirements include a completed Health Declaration Form and health insurance guaranteeing that the insurance company will cover a minimum of USD 100,000. The insurance must cover the entire duration of stay in Thailand.

Confirmation of booking of Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) in Bangkok, or ALQ in Chonburi province, or Prachinburi province only is also mandatory.

Please be informed that, (16th August 2020) air travellers using the services of the airports in Bangladesh will now have to pay newly imposed fees aimed at funding airport development and strengthening passenger security.

Please Note:

* All airlines operating in Bangladesh will begin collecting the fees for tickets issued from 16th August 2020.
* Outbound passengers flying to SAARC countries will have to pay USD 06 for passenger safety and USD 05 for airport development while those flying to other countries will pay USD 10 for both.

ANNOUNCEMENT: FEE FOR COVID-19 TEST

The Government of Malaysia has set that all those entering Malaysia from overseas are required to pay the COVID-19 screening test. The test is conducted at the Malaysian International Entry Point (PMA) if a valid COVID-19 test results done at the country of residence or departure is not produced to the Health Authority at PMA. The test result must be in English or Bahasa Malaysia. The effective date of this Regulations is June 29, 2020 at the prescribed rate.

Maldives consulate in Dhaka, Bangladesh:
Visa Requirements:
On arrival visa is issued if necessary to travelers staying for no more than 90 days provided they are citizens of Bangladesh, with valid passports.
Additional information
1. Travelers must have tickets and documents needed for their return or onward trip. Each traveler entering Maldives without a hotel reservation or a Maldivian sponsor is required to have at least USD 30 per day to cover the expenses of their intended visit. All travelers must fill in and submit a landing card to the immigration officer upon arrival.
2. Travelers staying for no more than 90 days from the arrival date may extend their visit through paying a fee of MVR 750 to the Department of Immigration in Male at least one day before the expiry date of the permitted entry. Travelers are not allowed to stay in the Maldives for more than 90 days.
Special Note: Normal passport bearers, who are citizens of Bangladesh, India and Pakistan-wishing to stay for more than 30 days up to no more than 90 days-must be supported by a local sponsor. In case the travelers have already arrived in the Maldives and have extended their visit after the original 30-day stay, the sponsor must inform the Immigration at Male before the expiry of the 30-day visa on arrival. Alternatively, in case the travelers arrive in Male for an intended visit between 30 days and no more than 90 days, they must obtain a local sponsor before arrival. The sponsor must inform the Department of Immigration at Male at least one day before the arrival of the traveler. In any case, travelers are not allowed to stay in the Maldives for more than 90 days.

Personal / Company Bank statement of last 06 months ( Minimum balance BDT 80,000 for each applicant )
Bank Solvency Certificate
For Business Person:-
Renewal Trade license copy with notary public ( English Translated )
Memorandum for Limited Company.
Office Pad / Company Letter Head Pad
For Job Holder:-
No Objection Certificate (NOC) & Employee ID card copy

Built on top of Gunung Machinchang, you can take a walk on the bridge which is around 650 meters above sea level overlooking the entire island!
