Govt considering Bangladesh request for SDF discount !!!
Recently the Bangladesh Embassy issued a press release on the visit of the Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen.
Buried in the press release was an important line which said that the Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh raised the issue of Sustainable Development Fees (SDF) for tourists and requested to reduce the current SDF for the Bangladeshi tourists.

Public Notice on Launching of the Chinese Visa Center (CVC) in Dhaka

With effect from April 11, 2024, the Chinese Visa Center in Dhaka (CVC) will start accepting visa applications from ordinary passport holders (including visas for Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macau) and legalization applications.

1)A service fee per application will be charged, in addition to the visa fee and express service fee (if applicable) charged by the Embassy of China in Bangladesh. Details of fees are shown in the website of the CVC.
2)Applicants may contact CVC as per details given below:

3)Starting from April 11, 2024, the Embassy of China in Bangladesh will stop accepting direct visa applications from ordinary passport holders (including visas for Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macau) and legalization applications. The above-mentioned applicants are required to log on to the CVC website to fill in the application form online and then proceed to the CVC for further processing, details of which are available at www.visaforchina.cn.
4)For diplomatic or service/official passport holders or applicants applying for Chinese diplomatic, courtesy or service visas, please submit applications directly to the Embassy of China in Bangladesh. For any queries in this regard, please send an email at [email protected].

ভারত ও বাংলাদেশের মধ্যে ট্রেন সেবার পুনরারম্ভ

ভারত-বাংলাদেশের মধ্যে আন্তঃসীমান্ত ট্রেন চলাচল শিগগিরই চালু হবে ৷ ঢাকা-কলকাতার মধ্যে মৈত্রী এক্সপ্রেস এবং কলকাতা-খুলনার মধ্যে বন্ধন এক্সপ্রেস ২৯ মে ২০২২ তারিখে পুনরায় চালু হবে ৷ মৈত্রী এক্সপ্রেস ঢাকা থেকে তার যাত্রা শুরু করবে এবং বন্ধন এক্সপ্রেস কলকাতা থেকে তার যাত্রা শুরু করবে ৷

নিউ জলপাইগুড়ি-ঢাকার মধ্যে মিতালি এক্সপ্রেস ০১ জুন ২০২২ তারিখে ভারত ও বাংলাদেশের রেলমন্ত্রীদের ভার্চুয়াল লঞ্চের পর নিউ জলপাইগুড়ি থেকে যাত্রা শুরু করবে ৷

আগ্রহী যাত্রীরা মৈত্রী ও বন্ধন এক্সপ্রেসের পুনরায় চালু এবং মিতালি এক্সপ্রেস লঞ্চের তারিখ নোট করে রাখতে পারেন ৷
