শ্রীলংকার দুর্যোগ ব্যবস্থাপনা কর্তৃপক্ষ আগামি ২৪ ঘণ্টার জন্য ক্যান্ডি ও নুয়ারা এলিয়ার কিছু এলাকায় সর্বোচ্চ মাত্রার ‘Level 03 (Red)’ আগাম ভূমিধস সতর্কীকরণ বার্তা জারি করেছে। এছাড়া, বাদুল্লা, কুরুনেগালা ও মাতালের আরো কিছু জায়গায় দ্বিতীয় সর্বোচ্চ ‘Level 02 (Amber)’ সতর্কতা জারি করা হয়েছে। আমরা বাংলাদেশি পর্যটকসহ সকলকে অনুরোধ করছি- অনুগ্রহ করে শান্ত থাকুন, নিরাপদ আশ্রয়ে অবস্থান করুন, এবং স্থানীয় প্রশাসন ও দুর্যোগ ব্যবস্থাপনা কর্তৃপক্ষের নির্দেশনা অনুসরণ করুন। আপনাদের নিরাপত্তাই আমাদের সর্বোচ্চ অগ্রাধিকার।

Urgent Notice from the Bangladesh High Commission in Colombo for Bangladeshi Tourists in Sri Lanka:

21 December 2025:

The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) of Sri Lanka has issued a Level 03 (Red) Landslide Early Warning, the highest alert level, for certain areas in Kandy and Nuwara Eliya for the next 24 hours. Additionally, a Level 02 (Amber) warning, the second-highest alert, has been issued for some other areas in Badulla, Kurunegala, and Matale. We urge all Bangladeshi tourists to remain calm, stay in safe shelters, and follow the instructions of local authorities and the Disaster Management Centre. Your safety is our highest priority.
