WSSB members or anyone who has research results related to the conference theme are welcome to submit and present papers. Please submit abstract of your research only by e-mail to: [email protected]

Abstracts must be in MS Word. Abstracts exceeding 250 words will not be accepted. Files if send in other format like pdf will not be accepted. No hard copies will be accepted.

Important Deadlines

· The abstract must be submitted on or before 20 April 2015. Abstracts received after this date may not be considered.
· Full papers must be submitted on or before 27 April 2015. Those who will submit full paper (s) will be considered for oral presentation as well as for publication of the paper [and publication] in the Bangladesh Journal of w**d science. Those who will not submit the full paper will be considered only for poster presentation.
· The Organizing Committee will send notification to the participants whose paper(s) will be [have been] selected for oral presentation on or before 09 May 2015.
· Registration : 31 April 2015 without late fee

Introduction to Grassy W**ds

A lawn w**d is defined as any plant that is not wanted in the lawn, even if it is a grass variety. Grassy w**ds are often difficult to identify in a lawn or landscaping environment because they look similar to the desirable turfgrasses.
