Itinerary
Day 01 - DHAKA
Arrival Dhaka and Check in to Hotel after Freshen-up DHAKA City Sight Seeing includes: Lalbagh Fort, Dhakeswari Temple, Central Shahi Minar, National Monument, Parliament House and Zia Uddayan etc. After lunch visit Sonargoan and Shopping. Return to Hotel and Night Halt.
Day 02 DHAKA- MOINAMOTI-DHAKA:
After Breakfast, drive to the Archeological camp (via Dhaka) where the Salbon Vihar and the Museum are located. Excavated Buddhist remains of 8th/9th century, by King Buddhadev, are dotted all the way along the north south running Lalmai Moinamoti hill range. From here the following adjacent sites you may also visit: Ananda Vihar, Charpatra Mura, Itakhola Mura, Rupban Mura, Kutila Mura and Triratna Stupa. Among these, the Ananda Vihara, the Charpatra Mura and the Kutila Mura.
We will drive back to Dhaka. On the way back, we will stop at Sonargaon, the oldest city, which was the capital of Bengal from 13th 17th century for sight Seeing. If our time permits, we may visit the Folklore museum and the Panam village. Arrival Dhaka in the evening, take dinner and night halt.
Day 03 - Dhaka- Saver-Dhamrai-Dhaka
After Breakfast visit Saver: Around 35km from Dhaka is the National Martyr's Monument at Savar. This 50M high and beautifully kept structure was built as memorial of the millions who died in the liberation war during 1971. After Lunch will Drive to Dhamrai: Dhamrai area (1&1/2hrs drive) around 40 km from Dhaka. Once every houses of this village used to be metal craftsman and they used to work with brass. These craftsmen have been in this trade for the last hundreds of years and supplied the greater India with statues for temples, utensils for homes and decoration. Now only very few families are sticking to it, but depending mainly on orders from overseas.
Arrival Dhaka in the evening, take dinner and night halt.
Day 04 - Dhaka After Breakfast free time for Shopping and Transfer to Airport for final
departure.
