Important update:
Requirement to Show Proof of Financial Means for Foreign Tourists Entering Thailand

Foreign tourists must provide proof of sufficient financial means upon arrival in Thailand.

According to the Government Gazette (Volume 117, Special Issue 53 Ng, dated 9 June 2000), the required amount of funds is as follows:

Transit Visa / Visa Exemption (No Visa):
10,000 THB per person, or
20,000 THB per family
Tourist Visa / Non-Immigrant Visa:
20,000 THB per person, or
40,000 THB per family
Visa on Arrival (VOA):
10,000 THB per person, or
20,000 THB per family

Note: This requirement does not apply to children under 12 years of age.

This notice means that Thai immigration officers may ask travelers to show cash or other acceptable proof of funds when entering Thailand.

✅ Printed copy of valid e-Visa.
✅ Email address & password used during visa application.
✅ Copy of visa approval email issued by the Royal Thai Embassy/Consulate.

Important update:

✈️ Major initiative by Bangladesh Bank to stop fake bank statements in visa applications! 🇧🇩

To ensure digital security and transparency, Bangladesh Bank has issued a new directive. From now on, bank statements and solvency certificates used for visa applications will be required to include a QR Code.
As a result, embassies or relevant authorities will be able to instantly verify the information by scanning the QR code. This is expected to significantly reduce the use of fake documents and make visa processing faster, easier, and more reliable.

➤ Key directives:

🔹 QR Codes must be added to bank statements and solvency certificates
🔹 Scanning the code will display the customer’s name, account number, and balance information
🔹 All banks have been instructed to implement this system within the next 90 days.

This marks another major step forward for Bangladesh toward digital banking and smart verification systems.

Passengers traveling from Dhaka to Moscow via Oman Air are kindly requested to ensure the following required documents before departure.

📄 Required Documents:
Proof of travel funds (minimum USD 1,000)
Job Offer Letter (in English)
Dormitory / Accommodation Agreement (in English)
Detailed employment information (including company name and position)
Full address and contact number in Russia (receiving party/host)

BGW Operational Guidelines Update –Bangladeshi Nationals Travel Conditions

Bangladeshi passengers traveling alone on tourist or visit E-visas are not accepted, and travel is permitted for family groups only.
These requirements do not apply to Bangladeshi nationals holding valid residency permits.
Entry and exit must be through the same airport.
Holders of multiple-entry visas and regular visas are permitted to travel individually. However, visas classified as Tourist or Visit do not allow solo travel. The passenger must be accompanied by family members including female companions.

Kindly ensure this update is cascaded to all relevant parties for strict compliance to avoid any operational or immigration issues.
