Yes, as of recent updates, Schengen visa applicants from Dhaka, Bangladesh no longer need to travel to New Delhi to submit their applications. The Schengen visa application process for Bangladeshi citizens has been streamlined, and applicants can now submit their visa applications directly at the VFS Global center in Dhaka. This means you no longer need to travel to India for the visa submission process, as the local application center in Dhaka is fully equipped to handle the necessary procedures for several Schengen area countries.

Notice:
Please be informed that, from 16th August 2020 air travellers using the services of the airports in Bangladesh will now have to pay newly imposed fees aimed at funding airport development and strengthening passenger security.

Please Note:

All airlines operating to and from Bangladesh will begin collecting the fees for tickets issued from 16th August 2020.
Outbound passengers flying to SAARC countries will have to pay USD 06 for passenger safety and USD 05 for airport development while those flying to other countries will pay USD 10 for both.
Domestic passengers will be charged with BDT 70 for passenger safety and BDT 100 for airport development.
15% VAT will be applicable on above fees.

বিদেশ যেতে এই ১৬ হাসপাতাল থেকে সনদ নেয়া যাবে:
গত ১২ জুলাই ২০২০ খ্রিঃ তারিখে অনুষ্ঠিত আন্তঃমন্ত্রণালয় সভায় বিদেশ গমনেচ্ছু যাত্রীদের কোভিড-১৯ মুক্ত সনদ নিয়ে বিদেশ গমনের সিদ্ধান্ত গৃহীত হয়। সে কারণে বিদেশ গমনেচ্ছু যাত্রীদের সরকার ঘোষিত কোভিড -১৯ পরীক্ষা সংক্রান্ত নিম্নরূপ নির্দেশনাবলী প্রতিপালনের জন্য অনুরোধ করা হলো:

১। বিমান যাত্রার ৭২ ঘণ্টার পূর্বে কোন নমুনা সংগ্রহ করা হবে না এবং যাত্রার ২৪ ঘন্টা পূর্বে রিপোর্ট ডেলিভারি গ্রহণের ব্যবস্থা করতে হবে;

২। নমুনা প্রদানের সময় যাত্রীদের বিমান টিকেট ও পাসপোর্ট উপস্থাপন এবং নির্ধারিত ফি পরিশোধ করতে হবে;

৩। বিদেশ গমনেচ্ছু যাত্রীরা কোভিড-১৯ পরীক্ষার নিমিত্তে নির্দিষ্টকৃত পরীক্ষাগার যে জেলায় অবস্থিত সে জেলার সিভিল সার্জন অফিসে স্থাপিত পৃথক বুথে তাদের নমুনা প্রদান করবেন;

৪। নমুনা প্রদানের পর থেকে যাত্রার সময় পর্যন্ত সংশ্লিষ্ট ব্যক্তি আবশ্যিকভাবে আইসোলেশনে থাকবেন;

৫। বিদেশ যাত্রীদের কোভিড-১৯ পরীক্ষা সনদ প্রাপ্তির জন্য ল্যাবে গিয়ে নমুনা প্রদানের ক্ষেত্রে ৩৫০০ টাকা এবং বাড়ি থেকে নমুনা সংগ্রহে ৪৫০০ টাকা ফি প্রদান করতে হবে।

নিম্নে বর্নিত ১৬ টি সরকারি হাসপাতাল বা প্রতিষ্ঠানে কোভিড টেস্ট করাবেন:

Guidelines for LON/MAN bound passengers

HM Government has issued Covid-19 Border Measures in England (Aviation Industry Operational Guidance) with effect from 08Jun'20. Followings are the key points:

v Compulsory 14 days self-isolation of each arriving passenger in UK port with effect from 08Jun'20. Exempted for arriving operating crews, airside transit passengers, civil aviation inspectors on inspection duties etc. Fine applicable GBP 1000/- for noncompliance of self-isolation for 14 days which escalate to GBP 3200/- for inaccurate contact details. May also refuse entry clearance.

v Need to fill up online Public Health Passenger Locator Form for all arriving passengers including arriving crews/transit passengers etc. within 48 hours prior of arrival time. To keep the electronic receipt to show on demand at UK port, else fine GBP 100/- or may refusal entry clearance

v We must inform travelers to visit http://www.gov.uk/uk-border-control in order to read and understand the regulations and procedure for availing a hassle free entry to UK.



In order to inform the following measures can be followed:

· For Online bookings: A link to http://www.gov.uk/uk-border-control must be embedded on our website, so that it is visible prior to booking.



· For manual bookings: Operators must advise travelers to visit the Entering the UK website

· For check-in at the airport: The information must be provided either orally or in writing (in the form of a poster, digital screen or leaflet setting out the information).
