Floating Guava Market:

Nobody is certain when exactly this Floating market began, but the tradition is at least a century old. The market at Bhimruli over Kirtipasha canal is the biggest of them all. It comes to life during the Guava season, which is from July to August.
Other fruits, like Hog Plum lemons, coconuts, and bananas, are also sold in the markets throughout the year.
The farmers don't have proper communication or cold-storage facilities, resulting in poor market prices, but the proliferation of mobile phones is changing this scenario.

The National Martyrs' Memorial is the national monument of Bangladesh. It is the symbol in the memory of the velour and the sacrifice of all those who sacrificed their lives in the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971.

The monument is composed of 7 isosceles triangular pyramid shaped structures, with the middle one being the tallest. The highest point of the monument is 150 feet. There is an artificial lake, and several mass graves in front of the main monument.

From a a nationwide design competition Syed Mainul Hossain's design was finally chosen.

Baliati & Pakutiya Zamindar Palace:

Baliati Zamindar Palace is one of the most Gorgeous Palaces in Manikganj of Bangladesh built in 19th century. The long 100 years ago, the ‘Govinda Ram Saha’ founded zamindar family in Baliati village. From now, The Baliati Zamindar Bari is highly famous for its glory.
> The buildings are still well preserved under the care of Bangladesh Government.
> One building has been Museum where home appliances of Jamindar Family members have been kept for exhibition.
