বাংলাদেশ পর্যটন করপোরেশন (বাপক) একটি জাতীয় পর্যটন সংস্থা (এনটিও)। প্রতিষ্ঠানটি ১৯৭২ সালে মহামান্য রাষ্ট্রপতির ১৪৩
নং আদেশের মাধ্যমে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয় এবং ১৯৭৩ সালে এর কার্যক্রম শুরুকরে। এটি বেসরকারী বিমান পরিবহন ও পর্যটন
মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীনে একটি স্বায়ত্বশাসিত প্রতিষ্ঠান।

একজন চেয়ারম্যান ও তিনজন পরিচালক-এর মাধ্যমে Board of Directors গঠিত। চেয়ারম্যান বোর্ডের সভাপতি, পরিচালকগণ
বোর্ডের সদস্য এবং মহা

-ব্যবস্থাপক (প্রশাসন) বোর্ডের সাচিবিক দায়িত্ব পালন করে থাকেন। প্রধান কার্যালয়ের বিভাগসমূহ যথাঃ
প্রশাসন বিভাগ ; বাণিজ্যিক বিভাগ ; পরিকল্পনা, প্রশিক্ষণ ও পরিসংখ্যান বিভাগ, বিপণন বিভাগ, জনসংযোগ বিভাগ, অর্থ ও
হিসাব বিভাগ, পূর্ত বিভাগ, এষ্টেট বিভাগএবং তথ্য ও যোগাযোগ বিভাগ।

Operations (DFO) সহ হোটেল, মোটেল, কটেজ, রেস্তোরাঁ, পিকনিক স্পট, রেন্ট-এ-কার ও ভ্রমণ ইউনিট সারাদেশে দেশী-বিদেশী
পর্যটকদের সেবা প্রদান করে আসছে।

The Sundarbans (Bengali: সুন্দরবন, Shundorbôn) is a natural region in Bengal. It is the largest single block of tidal halophytic mangrove forest in the world.[2][3][4] The Sundarbans covers approximately 10,000 square kilometres (3,900 sq mi) of which 60 percent is in Bangladesh with the remainder in India.[5][6] The Sundarbans is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.[5]

The Sundarbans National Park is a National Park, Tiger Reserve, and a Biosphere Reserve located in the Sundarbans delta in the Indian state of West Bengal. Sundarbans South, East and West are three protected forests in Bangladesh. This region is densely covered by mangrove forests, and is one of the largest reserves for the Bengal tiger.

Cox's Bazar (Bengali: কক্সবাজার Kaksbājār) is a town, a fishing port and district headquarters in Bangladesh. It is one of the world's longest uninterrupted natural sandy sea beaches,[2][3][4] The beach in Cox's Bazar is an unbroken 125 km sandy sea beach with a gentle slope. It is located 150 km south of the industrial port Chittagong. Cox’s Bazar is also known by the name Panowa, whose literal translation means "yellow flower." Its other old name was "Palongkee".

The modern Cox's Bazar derives its name from Captain Hiram Cox (died 1799), an officer serving in British India. An officer of the British East India Company, Captain Cox was appointed Superintendent of Palongkee outpost after Warren Hastings became Governor of Bengal. Captain Cox was specially mobilised to deal with a century-long conflict between Arakan refugees and local Rakhains. He embarked upon the mammoth task of rehabilitating refugees in the area and made significant progress. A premature death took Captain Cox in 1799 before he could finish his work. To commemorate his role in rehabilitation work, a market was established and named Cox's Bazar ("Cox's Market") after him.

Today, Cox's Bazar is one of the most-visited tourist destinations in Bangladesh. It has yet to become a major international tourist destination, and has no international hotel chains, due to lack of publicity and transportation. Recently[when?], the Bangladesh Government formed the Tourist Police unit to better protect local and foreign tourists, as well as to look after the nature and wildlife in the tourist spots of Cox's Bazar.

Jatiyo Sriti Shoudho (Bengali: জাতীয় স্মৃতি সৌধ Jatio Sriti Shoudho) or National Martyrs' Memorial is the national monument of Bangladesh is the symbol in the memory of the valour and the sacrifice of all those who gave their lives in the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971, which brought independence and separated Bangladesh from Pakistan. Lalbagh Fort (also Fort Aurangabad) is an incomplete 17th century Mughal fort complex that stands proudly before the Buriganga River in the southwestern part of Dhaka, Bangladesh.[1] The construction was started in 1678 AD by Mughal Subahdar Muhammad Azam Shah who was son of Emperor Aurangzeb and later emperor himself. His successor, Shaista Khan, did not continue the work, though he stayed in Dhaka up to 1688.
