NL: MS Astoria is aangekomen bij de sloopwerf in Gent en sluit daarmee haar bewogen carrière van 77 jaar af. Al in 1958 was het schip als MS Stockholm voor Swedish American Line te zien in Antwerpen. Toen zag het schip er nog helemaal anders uit.

NL: MS Astoria is na 77 jaar begonnen aan haar laatste reis. Het schip lag sinds het faillissement van CMV in juli 2020 in Rotterdam. De sleepboten Multratug 3 & 20 slepen het schip nu naar de sloopwerf Galloo in Gent. In 2017 konden we het schip nog bezoeken in Antwerpen: https://tinyurl.com/AstoriaIntNL
