Today, the strike situation continues with Swissport, one of both handling agents at Brussels Airport. Flights that are handled by Aviapartner are not impacted.
The sitrike at Swissport leads to delayed baggage delivery and delayed departures. At this moment, very few flights have been cancelled due to this situation. Airlines do their utmost to get the flights that are scheduled today to fly to their destination.
Advise to passengers flying today to or from Brussels Airport :
Please check your flight status at http://www.brusselsairport.be/ or the website of their airline. If their flight is cancelled, please check the airline website for alternatives.
Travel, if possible, with hand luggage only, of course respecting the airline rules on weight and dimensions for hand luggage.
To passengers who are waiting for their luggage : we as an airport cannot trace luggage. For info about your luggage: check with your airline. Check your airline's website for an online lost or delayed baggage form or contact them via phone. A complete list of contact details of each airline can be found at www.brusselsairport.be > contact us > airlines > choose your airline. Your airline will contact you if your baggage is found and you will have the choice to pick it up or have it delivered.
