Dear friends,

It's official!
The Darth Vader Balloon will be taking to the skies again in the second half of 2026!

This spring, the balloon will be sent to the Cameron Balloons factory in Bristol, England, for extensive restoration work that will give it a second life.

All the black fabric on the helmet will be replaced to restore its original shape.

The funds raised through the crowdfunding campaign don't cover all the costs; the remainder will be financed from our own funds. Our goal is for this balloon to continue inspiring dreams as it soars through the sky.

Regarding the crowdfunding campaign, packages for contributors will be sent as soon as we have received the old fabric. Each piece of fabric will be numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

And yes, a page may be turning!

Your favorite balloon is getting old; after 19 years of existence, it's unfortunately about to stop flying.

19 years is a very good age for a balloon of this shape, and it demonstrates the quality of its manufacture!

We have two options:

1. Stop in 2026 and keep fond memories of all our flights and incredible encounters around the Earth.

2. We hope you'll help us finance the balloon's reconstruction during this winter/spring of 2026, so we can take to the skies again in early summer 2026.

To do this, we've created a fundraiser and hope to reach our goal. It's a large amount, we know it and are aware of it, but nothing ventured, nothing gained!

If the project is successful, the building will be completely rebuilt, and we will be able to share the experience with you for many years to come.

New opportunity, we need a commercial rating pilot, for the special shapes rodeo and glodeo.

- Pilot must be from USA, sorry friends from Europe/Asia we don't pay the air fees ;)

- Must have +- 800h on 105-160 or experience on Special Shapes (so not a beginner)
