Dear National Coordinators,

I hope you're doing well!

On behalf of EUROPEA Denmark, I would like to warmly invite you to our upcoming EUROPEA meeting, which will take place in Denmark from September 23 to 25, 2025.
Travel days are September 22 (arrival) and September 26 (departure).

We are preparing an exciting program under the theme:
"Cultivating Change: Education for Climate-Smart Agriculture."

The meeting will be organized as a course, so you will be able to use Erasmus+ funding to participate.

Each country is offered 4 places.
If you would like to send more participants, you can request extra places and be placed on a waiting list. If some countries send fewer people, there will be room for additional participants.

Accommodation will be at:
CABINN Aarhus, Kannikegade 14, 8000 Aarhus.

The program will include:

Tuesday, September 23 – Course day at Green Academy www.ju.dk in Aarhus.
Wednesday, September 24 – Course day at Kalø Organic Agricultural College

Thursday, September 25 – Excursion to Samsø, where you will see inspiring examples of climate-smart agriculture.
Travel information:
You can fly to Billund Airport and take a direct bus 912 x to Aarhus – it's very easy.
Alternatively, you can fly to Aarhus Airport, which is even closer to the city, bus number 925 x.
If you fly to Copenhagen, please note that you will need to take a train to Aarhus, which takes about 3 hours ( link to train tickets https://www.dsb.dk/en/) .

Registration will open in early June.
We will present the full program during the upcoming EUROPEA meeting in Poland.

We’re really looking forward to welcoming you all to Denmark and will do our best to make it a great experience for everyone!

NEWS from LATVIA🇱🇻... Europe’s Best Young Foresters Will Compete in Latvia next week!
From May 20 to May 25, 2025, Latvia will host the 21st European Student Championship In Forestry Skills (ESCFS 2025)🌲🌳🌿🪚🪓. This prestigious event will bring together young professionals from 16 European countries, including Austria, Belgium, Estonia, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Hungary, Germany, Sweden, and Latvia, to showcase their skills and knowledge in the forestry sector.
🏆These are the disciplines:
✔ Fitting Another Chain / Ķēdes maiņa
✔ Combined Bucking / Kombinētā garumošana
✔ Precision Bucking / Precīzā garumošana

NEWS from SPAIN🇪🇸... 2ND EDITION OF THE NATIONAL STUDENT FORESTRY CHAMPIONSHIP IN SPAIN🎄🌲🌳🪵🚜🪚🪓 - The 2nd edition of the National Student Forestry Championship was held at the CPIFP Montearagón school in Huesca (Spain) and was again promoted by Europea-Spain and 10 companies from the forestry sector participated as sponsors. It was attended by 12 teams of 4 students each from schools all over the country. A total of 48 students and 28 teachers were invited to referee the different tasks. The tasks, once again, were the same as those of the European Student Championship in Forestry Skills, which has been held in Europe for more than 20 years.
After the championship, a selection has been made of the 4 best students in the technical tasks who will represent Spain in the next European Championship to be held in Latvia from the 20th to the 24th of May. NEWS from SWEDEN🇸🇪… An interesting project just finished: BREC - “Bridging the Gap between Research and Education in the Circular Bioeconomy,” connected agricultural schools, authorities, and researchers to promote circular agricultural practices and explain available technologies. The project aspired in part to help agricultural schools across Europe effectively demonstrate the principles of a circular bioeconomy by developing educational materials that can be used in the classrooms as designed, or on a modular basis where parts of the bioeconomy guide can be integrated into relevant subjects. 🇭🇺 Busy Days at EUROPEA school KMASZC Táncsics Mihály Agricultural Technical School! 🌍✨

📅 This month has been full of exciting international exchanges! 🌎🤝

🤝 We had the pleasure of hosting:
1️⃣2️⃣ Students and 4️⃣ teachers from Serbia 🇷🇸 and Transilvania 🇷🇴 as part of the EXOTERIC small-scale partnership program 🐴

5️⃣0️⃣Students and 4️⃣ teachers from Bors, Transylvania 🇷🇴 on the anniversary of our national holiday 🎉🇭🇺

8️⃣ students and 2️⃣ teachers from ENAIP, Italy 🇮🇹 on a group mobility program ✈️

👉and we are preparing the arrival of 1️⃣4️⃣ Veterinary assistant students and 2️⃣ teachers from Romania 🇷🇴 for a two-week internship 🩺🐾

🤝We are proud to strengthen international cooperation and provide valuable learning experiences for all! 🇪🇺 🌍

🇷🇴 Transylvania Nasaud Forestry High School 🇷🇴

📅 In February, Transylvania Nasaud Forestry High School hosted for 2️⃣ weeks Erasmus + internship of Latvian students 🇱🇻

🪵🌲🌳 The last week was dedicated to the works in the logging managed by the M.I.S. GRUP company, in the Feldru Forest District, Coșna district.

👉 The young Latvian foresters, under the guidance of the specialized staff, learned techniques for handling the mechanical saw for thinning works, collecting wood with sledges, T.A.F, as well as with modern machinery: harvester and forwarder! They also carried out works in the primary platform: primary measurement and sorting of logs!

🇪🇺 Transilvania Năsăud Forestry High School, having Erasmus Accreditation, has submitted a funding application for the next school year 📅, for both student and teacher flows, with partner schools in Latvia 🇱🇻 , Serbia 🇷🇸 and Norway 🇳🇴 !

🇫🇷 Naturapole EPL76 applied for the ECHE charter 🇪🇺

💻 📑📝So after 3️⃣ years of work and obtaining VET accreditation the first year 🥇, and then SCH the second year🥈, we hope to be certified ECHE 🥉 this year.

👉 This will enable all our 2️⃣3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ students (aged 13 and over) and 4️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ adults to take part of an Erasmus+ program, regardless of their status.
