Had such a great day yesterday watching them in action — impressive seeing how much goes into the videos i'm sure many of you have seen.
A lot of their work has genuinely helped me when guiding, especially when it comes to understanding the landscape in more detail.
You can see their stuff here! 👇

It feels special that i'm able to attend the memorial service here in Ypres each year. It's quite something to hear the military drums start echoing through the square as you watch all the people walking toward the Menin Gate.

I can't help but wonder what the soldiers would think of all this. More than a century later, we’re still here, still remembering. But more than that, their mothers, fathers, familes, how would they feel, seeing so many people come together to honour those they lost.

Gets me a bit teary! X

Well, what a morning! ✨
Today I had the pleasure of guiding my lovely repeat customers, Harold & Karin from Groenengin. We arrived at Sheffield Memorial Park and guess who we bumped into?! 👀
Familiar faces I've spent hours watching on YouTube! Rob from
And Chris from
Honestly, I felt a little star-struck 🤩🤣

I’ve learned a lot from their videos over the years, so it was a real treat to finally meet them — and Harold and Karin were just as delighted. In fact they had just watched a video from Rob about Sunken lane last night in preparation for today's tour!

Coincidence? I think not.

Was also great to meet two more vloggers from the battlefields as now I have more material to work my way through. HUZZAH! and

Captured at Langemark German Military Cemetery with my lovely clients — one from Finland, one originally from Serbia, and one from the UK.

One of the most rewarding parts of this work is meeting people from all corners of the world and walking these historic landscapes together. Every conversation adds another layer of meaning to each site we visit.

Thank you so much for beautifully capturing the moment. 📸

Feeling truly grateful to be working more closely with Talbot House - Every man's club. Every time I bring a client here, they leave with a quiet sense of awe—and they always thank me for introducing them to such a special place.

It’s one of those hidden gems that, once discovered, leaves a lasting impression. The stories, the people, the atmosphere… it all stays with you.

I feel incredibly lucky to have been welcomed in by those who know this place best—who've taken the time to share its history, humour, and heart with me. Thanks to them, I’m now able to carry these stories with me and pass them on to others.

Finally visited St Symphorien Cemetery. A cemetery established by the Germans. Such a beautiful and unusual place.
And finally paid my respects to John Parr, the first British soldier killed in this war, and George Ellison, one of the last 2 to be killed. They are buried opposite one another. Very poignant.
