Can i come? 😁

I’d love you to join me and Phil Hora (pictured right) as our guest on the ‘Fromelles & Pozieres 110th Anniversary Tour’ on 19-26 July 2026 to walk this sacred ground and connect with the Anzacs and long lost, but not forgotten relatives.

In partnership with Duty Nobly Done Battle Tours and Sacred Ground Tours, I will be a special tour guide on the ‘Fromelles & Pozieres 110th Anniversary Tour’.

Both these partnering companies specialise in conveying ‘Australian stories by Australians’.

Captured at Langemark German Military Cemetery with my lovely clients — one from Finland, one originally from Serbia, and one from the UK.

One of the most rewarding parts of this work is meeting people from all corners of the world and walking these historic landscapes together. Every conversation adds another layer of meaning to each site we visit.

Thank you so much for beautifully capturing the moment. 📸

Feeling truly grateful to be working more closely with Talbot House - Every man's club. Every time I bring a client here, they leave with a quiet sense of awe—and they always thank me for introducing them to such a special place.

It’s one of those hidden gems that, once discovered, leaves a lasting impression. The stories, the people, the atmosphere… it all stays with you.

I feel incredibly lucky to have been welcomed in by those who know this place best—who've taken the time to share its history, humour, and heart with me. Thanks to them, I’m now able to carry these stories with me and pass them on to others.

Finally visited St Symphorien Cemetery. A cemetery established by the Germans. Such a beautiful and unusual place.
And finally paid my respects to John Parr, the first British soldier killed in this war, and George Ellison, one of the last 2 to be killed. They are buried opposite one another. Very poignant.

Last week for the , I was able to test run the 1919 Michelin Guide inspired tour for the first time. It's easy to fall into my comfort zone and stick to what I know best, but the WW1 story is so vast, that it's important for me to change it up and keep it fresh for myself. This was definitely out of that comfort zone, but the support from the New Ypres League members was fantastic. It's encouraged me to work harder on bringing these stories to life on my tours as best as I can.

A truly special day with big thanks to for having faith in me to do this. X

UPDATE - I think I've narrowed this guy down to being on a Viking Cruises Community tour. Paris, the Somme and Ypres so far!

PLEASE SHARE especially if you have contacts with battlefield museums/sites!!!

Found this at Essex Farm!!! I've been able to download the images from it so have seen the owner.
They were on the Somme on the 4th December, Newfoundland Park. It also looks like they are on a coach trip. So either the camera was lost in the afternoon of the 4th but I'm suspecting it would have been Yesterday, (5th).

Anyone know of any coach groups around yesterday/today??? It was an older group and the accent sounded Canadian......

HELP ME FIND THE OWNER PLEASE!

"Connections"
I am thrilled to share that I am one of the eight participants who selected a meaningful object from a personal WWI collection in Flanders Fields. This experience was captured beautifully by Jelle Vermeersch through photos and video interviews.
Watch the video to discover the object I chose and why. 🤍
