Twende Afrika have a community program initiative which is aimed to promote a healthy rural environment by promoting sports and education activities. On most of our travels we visit a local school and help the learners appreciate the efforts made by their parents and appreciate the work by the teachers. This time we started with hosting a football tournament in the village where i (Fungai) grew up and brought together two of the football teams i played for during my village days to showcase their talents. Through our community initiative program, we secured a full set of football uniforms from Zulte Warengham and some from Club Brugge. It was a real success for Twende Afrika and a boost to the community.
