Drop The Spoon is a new collective (2015) of premier visual and conceptual artists that have contributed to a variety of international renowned shows and theatrical productions over the past 15 years. This creative collective was initiated by Patrick Neys, Jean-Luc Gason and Dirk Decloedt the three of them educated and inspired by the work and artistry of Franco Dragone, visionary director who’s i

nfluence has transformed live entertainment for the last 30 years. With the combined talent and expertise of our collaborative team, we guarantee a unique approach for every project that we develop covering conceptual design, video design, video editing, software expertise, technical production and award winning directing. In the beginning of the 20th century artists and writers consciously attempted to use the experience of dreaming as a source of inspiration for their work.

“For instance, surrealist Salvador Dali would lie down and place a glass on the floor. As he drifted into the first stage of sleep, Dali’s fingers would naturally relax and release the spoon. The sound of the spoon crashing into the glass would then wake him up, and Dali would sketch the odd images that were drifting through his mind.”

With Drop The Spoon we aim to explore this boundary between sleeping and waking, a boundary which touches on the indefinite and the infinite, the surreal and the mysterious, the abstract and the methaphoric. With the silent use of imagery we portray beauty, meaning and inspiration opening doors to other worlds, dimensions and comprehension.

We didn’t just raise the bar. We went to Mars.

In just a few days, Bruno Mars’ world tour, The Romantic Tour, will kick off in Las Vegas. We’re excited to finally share that Drop The Spoon is part of the adventure.

Having the opportunity to support an artist as visionary and demanding as Bruno Mars on a project like this is a meaningful recognition for Drop The Spoon.

Un fabuleux voyage au cœur d’Everland
Wings of Memory, le nouveau spectacle permanent du Cirque Éloize, a ouvert ses portes à Everland, à Séoul.

Nous sommes fiers d’avoir contribué à la création des différents univers visuels qui accompagnent Eyell, notre petite héroïne, dans un voyage poétique et surprenant au cœur de la forêt enchantée.

La production des images a débuté en Belgique. C’est ensuite sur site que notre équipe a pu les ajuster et les intégrer au spectacle.
Wings of Memory, imaginé et mis en scène par Benoit Landry, s’inscrit dans la continuité d’une collaboration de plus de 4 ans avec le Cirque Éloize, dont nous sommes très fiers.
Un grand merci à Pascal Auger et à toute l’équipe du Cirque Éloize pour leur confiance renouvelée.

A fabulous journey into the heart of Everland
Wings of Memory, Cirque Éloize’s new permanent show, has opened at Everland in Seoul.
We are proud to have contributed to the creation of the different visual worlds that accompany Eyell, our young heroine, on a poetic and surprising journey into the heart of the enchanted forest.
The production of the visual content began in Belgium. It was then on site that our team was able to refine and integrate it into the show.
Imagined and directed by Benoit Landry, Wings of Memory is part of a collaboration with Cirque Éloize that has now lasted more than four years, and one we are very proud of.
A big thank you to Pascal Auger and the entire Cirque Éloize team for their renewed trust.

2025 was quite a ride
A year of old friends, new faces, and moments worth holding on to.
As the year comes to an end, all of us at Drop The Spoon would like to thank everyone who was part of the journey.
