Si chacune de nos 10 chambres dispose de sa lampe de chevet personnalisée, celle-ci nous évoque la chaleur du poêle à pellet automatique un étage plus bas - à mi-chemin entre chaleur et design ❤️‍🔥

If you open the French doors, you can let the crisp air tickle your nose and observe the flow of the Amblève, the river right in front of your feet.

Did you know the plant on the facade was called a wisteria? (That should ring a bell and remind you of a famous series)
It’s colour turns purple later on, which matches the cherry tree flowers, (they will be blooming in spring) which you can see on the right of the picture.

The ancient shutters which we’ve carefully restored gives the house this authentic vibe. 🤍🍃

Did you know the entire garden of the Ecolodge is fenced?

This makes it easy to let your furry friend loose without worrying about its safety, while letting it roam freely in the garden. With a surface area of 10.200 m2 around the house, every dog will happily spend time in nature.

We know our family dog, Spicy here in the picture, adores the time out and about 🐶🐾🌱

Pacing through the first floor, you will find paintings by Louise de Borchgrave, scattered in different corners of the heart of the house.

Her work is inspired by colours, favorite songs, movement and seasons of life. Every single one of them transports you into a different universe, as it oscillates between light and shadow. What words come to your mind when looking at this one? 🎨💭💌

Step out of the house for a quick walk with your dog, as the autumn sun slowly wakes and plunges the entire garden in an orange light. Onto the terrace towards the apple trees is where you enjoy the best view, looking out onto the flowing water. Your cup of coffee in your bare fingers slowly warms body and soul. You’re ready for a new day at the Ecolodge. 🍄🍃🌿

Entering the coziest living room.

We’ve thought a lot about this place. From the bricks we decided to expose, to the old black window which has found a new decorative purpose, to the painted beams and original doors, a lot was reused, repurposed and kept - for a design balancing old and new, bringing the former mill back to life.

A surprising contrast between dark and light orange tones welcomes you right away. 💛 Doesn’t it make you want to snuggle in the sofa and daydream in silence?
