Did you know Belgium has its own “Blue Forest”?
Right now the bluebells are in full bloom, covering the woods with a soft, magical carpet of purple and blue. Every step feels like walking through a fairytale.
Spring doesn’t get more enchanting than this.

When I visited the Kathakali show in Kochi, it felt like stepping into another world. The dancers came on stage with bright colors on their faces, huge costumes, and eyes that spoke louder than words.
Every tiny movement a raised eyebrow, a sharp glance, a soft smile told part of the story. Their hands moved like a secret language, full of emotion and meaning.
Watching them, I felt the power of this old tradition come alive right in front of me. My photos still carry that same energy.

Tijdens mijn reis door Bhutan kocht ik een Dungchen, een Tibetaanse trompet.
Dit indrukwekkende instrument wordt door monniken gebruikt tijdens rituelen en gebeden.
Het diepe, dreunende geluid symboliseert de stem van de Boeddha en zuivert de geest.
Nu heeft de Dungchen een mooi plekje in mijn Reishuis Buddhas.
Iedereen die nieuwsgierig is kan het komen bewonderen.
Bezoek kan enkel na afspraak, welkom om dit stukje Bhutan te ervaren!

Mercado de Frutas in Lima is one of the biggest fruit markets in Peru. It’s a lively place full of colors, smells, and sounds. Trucks arrive early with fresh fruit from all over the country, bananas from the jungle, grapes from the valleys, and watermelons like these. It’s not just a market; it’s the center of life for many families and businesses.
When I walked through this busy market, I saw this man working hard, arranging heavy watermelons. You can see the effort on his face. Every fruit here carries a story of hard work and pride. This market is where Peru’s flavors begin.

I love the traditional kitchen of Bhutan.
Traditional Bhutanese cuisine reflects the simplicity of the Himalayan way of life.. Bhutan’s environment, culture and history have all played significant role in shaping the country’s incredible cuisine, which is full of unforgettable flavors.
Most meals are simple, native to the region, easy to prepare, and largely comprised of ingredients from the area. The spiciness of Bhutanese cuisine is it’s most distinguished feature.
The foods are typically spicy to stay warm in the chilly cold conditions of the steep mountainous scenery.
The spiciness of Bhutanese cuisine will fill you up with warmth that can only be matched by the hospitality of the Bhutanese people.
