🚨 BEWARE OF SCAMMERS AND FAKE WEBSITES 🚨
Every year we are contacted by some travelers who were unfortunately scammed by fake rental websites. For example, just this week we received a cry for help from a family who learned the day before arrival that their booked house was no longer available due to so-called “water damage.” No alternative was offered and they were unreachable by phone. Fortunately, we were able to help them further with another stay, but they lost their money. 😔
These fake websites look professional, with beautiful villas at (way too) low prices. It seems incredible, but even on major platforms like Airbnb and Booking, fraud occurs. Unfortunately, cheap is often expensive.
Therefore, rent safely through a reliable provider! At IbizaDesk we have been active in vacation villa rentals for more than 8 years. Daniel, our true Ibiza local, has lived on the island full-time for over 20 years and has over 35 years of Ibiza “work” experience. 🏝️

NL: 🚨 OPGELET VOOR OPLICHTERS EN FAKE WEBSITES 🚨
Elk jaar worden we gecontacteerd door enkele reizigers die helaas opgelicht werden door nep-verhuurwebsites. Zo ontvingen we deze week nog een noodkreet van een familie die de dag voor aankomst hoorde dat hun geboekte huis door zogenaamde “waterschade” niet meer beschikbaar was. Geen alternatief werd geboden en telefonisch was men onbereikbaar. Gelukkig konden we hen verderhelpen met een ander verblijf, maar hun geld zijn ze kwijt. 😔
Deze fake websites zien er professioneel uit, met prachtige villa’s aan (veel te) lage prijzen. Het lijkt ongelooflijk, maar zelfs op grote platforms zoals Airbnb en Booking komt fraude voor. Helaas is goedkoop vaak duurkoop.
