The top floor consists of 3 double bedrooms and a bathroom, with two further large bedrooms in the basement, which also has its own toilet/shower room. The middle floor houses the kitchen, dining room and lounge as well as a 3rd toilet/shower room. ic radiator and there is a lovely wood fire in the lounge so the Lodge is snug and warm in winter. We have installed an extra large water tank so everyone can enjoy steaming hot showers. The kitchen contains crockery and cutlery for 12 full place settings and there are dishes and pans galore for the family chef. The Neighbourhood:
Beli Iskar is about a one hour drive from Sofia airport but it is a world away from the hussle and bussle of the city. The River Iskar babbles though the village very close to the house and offers a beautiful background soundtrack in the quiet afternoons. 500 metres from the Lodge is the entrance to the Rila national Park which offers stunning views, picnic spots and hiking trails. Borowetz ski resort is a 10 to 15 minute drive from the Lodge and in the summer, with the lifts all operational you can hike the glorious trails and picnic by the mountain lakes, often frequented by herds of wild horses. Borowetz also offers a bustling night life with hundreds of bars to choose from for those who just fancy an after-ski pint or for the more adventurous type to dance the night away.
