Happy July Morning! 🙂 🎸🥁 🌞
We couldn`t think of a cooler tradition than the Bulgarians` celebration of the start of summer by waiting for the sunrise on 1 July at the seaside. Every year hundreds of people flock to the Black Sea to go camping or attend music beach festivals, organized specifically for the occasion.
The tradition is named after July Morning, a song by the British band Uriah Heep. John Lawton, frontman of the band, used to come to perform at Kamen Bryag, a village located in the north of the Bulgarian coast.

This week the Valley of Roses in Kazanlak is full of life and unforgettable scent of roses in the air.
Don`t miss the famous Rose Festival taking place on the 1st weekend of June. Enjoy picking the well-known Damascena rose and attend some of the numerous folklore events in town. 🙂
