Ротондата "Свети Георги" през 1894 г.

Храмът е украсен с национални знамена, зеленина и черен плат, тъй като по това време в него са положени тленните останки на първия български княз Александър I Батенберг. Те се съхраняват там до пренасянето им в съществуващата и днес гробница на 3 януари 1898 г.
