Bermuda's Treasures “Bermuda’s Treasures” is changing focus. We are sharing our local talent and treasures, and some insightful truths. This is a “Fill-in-the-Break” Opportunity.

Dear Parents and Guardians
Little Island BIG Adventure (LIBA) is pleased to offer “Bermuda’s Treasures” A Youth Geocaching Program that brings technology, history and the outdoors together, in a Teachable Entertainment Environment (TEE)
I am excited about the opportunity to provide your child/children with an opportunity to learn the sport of Geocaching which uses GPS technology. It also provide

s them with a new skill that they can utilize here in Bermuda or when they travel on vacation. Each treasure cache offers an opportunity to learn interesting facts and stories about our History, Geography and Topography. Parents you can utilize this offering for “school mid-term”, “weekend”, “shopping” or “need some time for myself” breaks! Reserving your space is required. We will focus on the following:
• Basic Maps and GPS skills
• The History of Geocaching - Geocacher Etiquette - CITO
• Geocache Types - Glossary of Terms
• Computer - Post Geocaching Activity
• Historical Facts & Fiction
• How this new skill can add value to family vacations
Our learning will include iconic places like World Heritage Center, Fort St. Catherine, Bermuda Aquarium Museum & Zoo, Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute, National Museum of Bermuda and Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences. Description:
Every day is packed with an outdoor adventure, learning, and hands on GPS time, fitness and play in a relaxed and happy atmosphere. I’m looking forward to a seeing their faces when they find their first treasure and the joy they will bring to their families when their skills are shared. Category: Sports-Fitness & Health

Age Group: 8 -14 yrs Co-Ed

Youth Group Dates: T

Program Hours: 9:00am - 5.00pm Full Day (you may of course pick up early but full day fees still apply). After Care: After 5:00 pm (not included). Program Fee: $110.00 week. Registration Deadline: 48 hrs prior to break

Please have your child bring the following:
• Study Shoes
• Towels
• Sun Screen
• Water bottle
• Packed Lunch
