To say that we’re excited would an understatement. We just completed our first tour with the new bikes (Yamaha Tenere 700) and they were an absolute blast. Our 4 friends from Costa Rica (Eduardo, Carlos, Ruperto & Ricardo) joined us for our 10-day “Best of Bolivia: Express Highlights” tour, starting in Santa Cruz, ending in La Paz. There were lots of highlights; lots of curvy roads with plenty of climbing and descending, the mine tour in Potosi, the Uyuni Salt Flats, the city of La Paz and Death Road to name a few. Like on our previous bikes, our new bikes are fitted with “Sargent Seats,” the best, most comfortable seats in the industry. Thanks guys for a great tour!

For those of you that have been following our adventure of adding new bikes to our fleet, we’re happy to say that the wait is finally over, our new Yamaha Tenere 700’s are finally on Bolivian soil and as of last night they’re resting comfortably at our headquarters. We still have some considerable paperwork ahead of us to get them road-legal but the end is in sight. They’ll be ready to go for our next tour in August.

Our friends from Russia & the US joined us for an 8-day custom tour starting in Uyuni and winding our way back to Santa Cruz. The salt flats were brilliant white, the highways were in great repair, the gravel sections were as dusty as advertised, the views were 2nd to none and the food didn’t disappoint! Here’s a taste of our experience. Thanks guys for a great tour!

Andrej is German but resides in Brazil. Starting in Cochabamba we did a 3-day tour through the backroads of Bolivia, ending in La Paz. The weather was perfect and as always the views didn’t disappoint. Here’s just a sample of what we experienced.

Nishant (India/USA) and Serban and Mihai (Romania) recently joined us on our 10-day “Best of Bolivia: Express Highlights” Tour. To say this was an awesome group would be an understatement. From day 1 these guys made it their mission to take full advantage of the experience; practicing their spanish, interacting with the locals, trying the food from each region that we visited, to go along with lots of questions to gain a better understanding of the culture. These guys will truly be missed!
