Don’t try to smuggle alcohol!

Most of the cruise lines are NOT allowing to embark with bottles of alcohol, and the one they do, they are limiting to only one bottle. So, don’t try to smuggle alcohol! We know, there is a hack when you can fill in the mouthwash bottle with the alcohol, but, thrust me, the security knows, so either you can lose the bottle, or you can loose the whole cruise. No one need a one-liter bottle of mouthwash for a 7-days cruise, that’s why there are travel packing.

Ilha Grande, the Brazilian hidden paradise

Samba, carnival, capoeira, coffee, Copacabana…this is Brazil for most of us. And that’s the truth, this South American country is the home of the most energetic and provocative dance, the powerful capoeira and the flavorful black coffee. Along with the magnificent Rio and all its dynamic, the long sandy beaches and the spectacular statue of the Christ the Redeemer and Amazonia, the lungs of Mother Earth, Brazil is one of the most impressive places in the world. And of course, in February Brazil breath in the spirit of the carnival. The explosion of rhythm, vivid colors, dance and millions and millions of happy people. Brazil is all of this and so much more…it takes time to see, feel, taste and know all the Brazilian wonders, places and flavors.

Here in Brazil, I have found my own paradise…a place so peaceful, so green, tropical and welcoming, a place that I want to stay forever. I am talking about Ilha Grande, or the Big Island, located in the beautiful coast of Rio de Janeiro. This island is the perfect escape from the city noise and the concrete urban jungles because here you simple forget all the worries and reconnect with the wild and untouched nature. While resting on the white sand beaches you can hear tropical birds or play with the little monkeys that are curiously jumping around, waiting for you to give a piece of fruit or just steal it from your hands...
