The statue was constructed between 1922 and 1931 and stands tall at 30 meters (98 ft), excluding its 8-meter (26 ft) pedestal. Rio Beach Tour - Enjoy 7-hours trip! On the tour we will go through the main beaches of the city's West Zone, Barra, Recreio, Prainha and with a 3 hour stop in Grumari, a "non-urban" beach in total contact with nature. On our return home we have a lunch stop at one of our accredited steakhouses.
