Progressing the forwards 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊

Today was a game changer. The story:
First time windsurfing in 2011 starting to want to loop in 2015. It took me months to do a proper try with the right attitude after a lesson with . But continued to start rotation still being with the fin "in" the wave, preventing a rotation. I believed "better not too high than over rotating". At the time I did not realize I had created a fear of hight over time. Last year I found that this fear was the reason I did no proper take offs for backies and never would do "delayed" or stalled forwards. So I went to hipnose. I feel I can do it now, at least initiating the technical progress to it.
Today I saw that footage my wife made and got proud as s**t. It's not the level or any other crazy dudes height. But high enough to get stoked on it. Aaaaand wanting more 🔥😎🔥

Magic Moment 1.0 🌠
This is why: (long story, sorry)
I love to teach windsurfing to motivated students. It's a passion. Enea is the son of a couple we hosted in Brazil. His parents wanted me to help him learn to play windsurf a bit better. His dad is a passionate windsurfer as well. We started off by beachstart, then harness and then first footstep into planning and back footstep. This kid was learning so incredibly fast that I had a blast coaching him. The last scheduled lesson we went "all in". I set the goal of him being able to get and keep planning in both footstraps. I wanted it for him and was sure he can pull it off. And he freaking did! Screaming, being exited we both flew over the water!
And then the real magic went down. I saw the ramp, I saw him upwind getting planning and decided to loop right next to him.
After the session he asked me super exited: "Rino, was that a forward loop? Soooo cool, I want that too!"
And that was the best message I could pass on to that young ripper: Be exited!
I had so many moments when I looked up to more advanced sailors being stoked about what's possible in our exiting sport. And now I could give that back to someone. Blessed moments...
