Disney Destiny 🚢

Feeling so grateful to have previewed Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship before her maiden voyage — and as someone who’s sailed every Disney ship, here are my first impressions:

🕷️ Marvel fans, this is your ship.
The theming is everywhere in the best way — stateroom details, entertainment, characters, dining… all thoughtfully designed and totally unique from the Wish and Treasure.

🦹 The Heroes vs. Villains concept is next-level.
It truly ties the whole ship together and gives the Destiny its own identity.

📅 The 4- and 5-night itineraries are a huge win for families who can’t commit to a full week at sea.

➡️ Honest take: I need to give Feast of the Lion King another try. The music was incredible and the menu reminded me of Jiko (a fave!), but our preview seating didn’t give us the best view of the show. I’m chalking that up to preview-day logistics — and yes, I’ll be making seating requests for my clients.

Final thoughts:
Every Disney ship has its own magic, and the Destiny is no exception. When planning a DCL cruise, the ship AND itinerary matter — and the Destiny adds something truly special to the fleet.

Dining in Cinderella’s Castle on your Disney dining list?

Here are a few tips to make the most of your Cinderella’s Royal Table experience:

🧾 Meals are prepaid: If you have a discount (ap, dvc, disney visa) makes sure to mention it when you check in to get a refund

🎂 Add a celebration when you check in: You might get lucky and get a seat by the window!

💴 Gratuity is included in the pre-paid price but does not include gratuity on any alcoholic beverages purchases.

⏰Plan at least 2 hours for this dining experience. It might not take that long but you don’t want to rush this one and it can take some time to make sure you get to see all the princesses.

The best part: you can use Marriott points at the Swan and Dolphin at Disney! Or use your Marriott status to upgrade/ enjoy the member perks on your stay.

Fun Fact: You won’t find any disposable cups or plates on Disney’s newest private island destination. ♻️

Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is focused on sending zero waste to landfill with sustainable serving on the island. You will only find reusable service ware including stainless steel cups at the bars 🍹

Finally home after 6 nights of ALL the Disney fun. So incredibly grateful to part of the first guests to enjoy Lookout Cay and get a sneak peak of newest attractions coming to WDW this summer.

Here’s the rundown:

🏝️ DCL’s newest beach destination is now open for guests to enjoy!!

🐻 The re-imagined Country Bears are coming to Magic Kingdom starting on July 17th

💦 Tiana’s Bayou adventure opens 6/28

🌐 After several years, the walls are down in EPCOT and Communicore is OPEN
