Honoured to have been invited to speak today at the Airports Conference of the Americas in Fort Lauderdale, as part of the Bahamian delegation.

Joining fellow aviation, tourism and transportation leaders from across the region, I participated in a panel discussion on the future of sustainable aviation, air service development, and next-generation aircraft in The Bahamas and throughout the Americas.

For an archipelago of more than 700 islands and cays, connectivity is far more than transportation. It is the foundation of tourism, economic opportunity, community development, and long-term competitiveness. As aviation technology continues to evolve, The Bahamas has a unique opportunity to lead in the adoption of more sustainable, efficient and accessible air transport solutions.
