If you're debating whether Royal Caribbean's Specialty Dining Package is worth it... this is your sign.

We kicked off our cruise at Chops Grille, and it definitely didn't disappoint.

Each of us could choose an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. The appetizers didn't really appeal to the boys, so the staff surprised them with bowls of mac and cheese topped with bacon instead. It's little moments like that personalized service that make specialty dining stand out.

I ordered the petite filet, Tyler went with the ribeye, and both boys happily devoured grilled chicken with mashed potatoes. We shared creamed spinach and asparagus. Oh, and I forgot to mention the pretzel bread!

The Chops team came out to sing Happy Birthday to Lincoln. I can't believe he's turning 7! He was absolutely mortified and slowly melted into his chair while everyone sang, which, of course, made it even more memorable.

Between the incredible food, attentive service, and special moments like this, we definitely made the most of our specialty dining package. For our family, it was absolutely worth the upgrade. I’ll share our other two dining experiences later!

Started vacation the best way we know how with an early morning flight followed by a full resort day at Sapphire Falls!

We even got upgraded to the Kids Suite! ✨ (What does Universal call getting "pixie dusted?" 😂) room tour in comments!

Also, not even going to lie, I've been thinking about this iced coffee ever since we checked out last year, so naturally it was my first stop before heading to the pool. Priorities.

After some pool time, we headed back to the room for a little quiet time. While everyone relaxed, I booked **FOUR more cabins on Royal Caribbean's Ovation of the Seas** for a new client. I love that this job lets me work from some pretty amazing places!

Now it's time to get ready for dinner and soak in the rest of day one!
