What my fall break vacation was supposed to look like ➡️ to what it actually looked like.

Because here's the real truth, travel advisors aren't immune to life happening and big expenses/repairs from having to happen. So did we have a great action packed fall break planned? Yep. Was I disappointed to have to postpone it because of multiple big car repairs and an HVAC repair? You better believe I was. So instead we went on some local dates, I got the Christmas tree I so desperately wanted last year but was sold out, repainted the half bath, and spent some time in Blue Ridge.

Sometimes life truly does just happen - things you aren't expecting or planning for AT ALL. So what's the moral of the story?
- Get the travel protection! Don't let a big investment like a vacation go unprotected.
- Never feel like I'm going to be upset or mad because you have to postpone a trip! I've been there personally and I already know how down you feel about it. I'll never guilt trip you into feeling like you have to make it happen just because we've previously hit that booked button!

Today is World Mental Health Day so remember:
Joy. Sadness. Anxiety. Fear. Anger.
Every feeling has a place.
Every person deserves a little grace.

Give yourself permission to feel it all.
And when you need a break - maybe it's okay to take one 💚
