JUNKANOO!!!!! It’s a street festival, designed at capturing the competitiveness and excitement of Bahamian Junkanoo. Major Junkanoo groups will head to Bay street (Downtown Nassau) for a spectacular fun filled rhythmic cultural competition. Groups and spectators will share in the fun and the spirit of Junkanoo.
The following groups will participate: Valley Boys, Saxons, One Family, Roots, Colours, religious groups, Prodigal Sons, Barabbas and the Tribe, Red Land Soldiers, and more!
The event is designed to celebrate our culture and our people, as part of The Bahamas' 50th anniversary of tourism.
