Life is full of beautiful contrast and so is nature.

The in Eleuthera is only 30 minutes from the Conched Out Cottages and is spectacular to see. One side of the one lane bridge is the dark blue of the deep Atlantic and the other side is the clear turquoise of the shallow Eleuthera bight.

Just to the north you’ll find aka the Glass Window bar and restaurant. Stop by for a cocktail and enjoy the view while sipping our personal favorite, the liquid mudslide 🍹

Lighthouse Point through the eyes of a local…(Potcake).

Potcake is the word used to describe local street dogs in the Bahamas. It’s origin comes from history when cooking large pots of rice and peas the food at the bottom would burn and turn crusty so it was called the “pot cake” and would be tossed out to feed the stray dogs, hence earning these adorable pups the affectionate name “Potcake”.

This series starts with a beach that will soon be unreachable to the average visitor, tourist, and local alike. The area of Lighthouse point has been purchased by Disney and is being turned into a private stop for passengers on their cruise line so if you’d like to see it book NOW before this treasure gets buried in bureaucracy!

Introducing “Unwind Cottage”…

Unwind cottage is the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom sister property to Relax cottage and can accommodate up to 4 guests in beds and another two on air mattresses. The 1st bedroom is currently set up with a double bed but this bed will be replaced with a queen size bed after July 1. The second bedroom can be set up as two twin beds or one king bed.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need including an Insta pot and an air fryer! But the real showstopper here is the incredible outdoor deck overlooking the magnificent blue waters of the Bahamas by day and by night, it becomes your own personal observatory to view the incredible stars in the night sky.
