On the last day of Paro Tshechu a huge tapestry of Guru Rinpoche measuring 30 ‘x 45’ and commissioned in 1650 by Paro Penlop is unfurled to the local people.The word Thongdrel translates to Sight liberation and a mere sight of the tapestry has the power to bless us.
