Five Bangladesh players from the ongoing Bhutan Women's National Leaque 2025 - Rituporna Chakma, Rupna Chakma, Shamshunnahar, Monika Chakma, and Maria Manda - have returned to Bangladesh.

They will join the training camp with the Bangladesh national team to prepare for the upcoming Tri-Nation Cup, which they are playing in Jordan later this month.

Some of the key players of their national team - Sabina Khatun, Masura Parvin, Sanjida Akter, and Krishna Rani Sarkar who are playing the Bhutanese leaque - were reportedly not called.

The Japanese-origin Bangladeshi footballer Matsushima Sumaiya is also playing the Bhutanese.
