A hot stone bath in Bhutan is a traditional healing practice known for its therapeutic and relaxing benefits. Locally called "Dotsho", the bath involves immersing in a wooden tub filled with water that has been heated by large river stones. These stones are roasted over a fire until red-hot, then carefully placed into a separate compartment of the tub, gradually heating the water and releasing minerals believed to have healing properties.
