Rangjung Woesel Choeling Monastery is located in Eastern Bhutan under Trashigang district at Rangjung. The monastery was founded by His Eminence Dungsey Garab Dorje Rinpoche in the year 1989 with few monks and nuns. The objective of monastery is to provide a conducive haven for the study of Buddha dharma as expounded in the Dudjom New Treasure Lineage and carry out dharma activities for the benefit of the Buddhist community in and abroad the country. Tsampa Sangay Tenzin who sponsored one thousand Zhabdrung statues to Wangdue Phodrang Dzong also offered Nu 15 M today during the second-day preliminary consecration ceremony of the newly reconstructed Wangdue Dzong. Other devotees also offered Nu 2.3 M as seed money to conduct rituals for the one thousand statues of Zhabdrung.

Meanwhile, devotees also offered 94-decimal land from Paro and 48.8-decimal land from Wangdue. His Holiness the Je Khenpo handed over all the offerings to Wangdue Phodrang Rabdey.

Meet Anne and Mike from the United States of America who have been on their honeymoon trip for more than a decade.

โ€œWe left our country on our honeymoon in January 2012 and have since travelled to 70 countries across 7 continents,โ€ the couple says, sharing their long adventure which could easily be touted as the longest honeymoon trip in history.

โ€œWeโ€™ve had the full range of experiences from working on farms to staying at five-star hotels, taking Spanish classes to teaching English, flying first class to hitchhiking on a banana truck. We are full believers that variety is the spice of life,โ€ the couple adds.
