Thanks to the extensive preparations for lockdown that has been going on for months, the dzongkhags are sharing numbers for health services and to get essential supplies, and all kinds of other services and information. Desuups are already at work to support and facilitate lockdown. We need not worry about food and supplies right now because the government and agencies have been prepared for this. 🙏

Thank you, Your Majesty for the guidance and leadership that has shown the way. Bhutan is dealing with COVID-19 better than anywhere else, by prioritising the wellbeing of people first and foremost. We are lucky to have such a King, whose wisdom and foresight has kept us healthy and safe.

We need to now do the easiest thing to help. Just stay home. Take care of yourself, your family and friends, especially those who don’t have internet access. Share contacts, help them get supplies if they need, but most of all, stay at home. Let us support our country, and make sure the virus does not get a chance to spread. The better we adhere to lockdown, the faster we will be able to end it. 🙏

Art by Drukpro. Kadrinchey, Miwang Chho. We owe our lives and health to His Majesty. A thousand lifetimes of every Bhutanese will not be enough to repay our debt to our beloved King. 🙏
