Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten is a stunning, intricately designed stupa located at Nyizergang, Punakha, Bhutan. Built by Her Majesty Queen Mother, Azhi Tshering Yangdon Wangchuck in 2004 to promote peace, harmony, and universal well-being. Perched on a ridge overlooking the Punakha Valley, this stupa is a fine example of Bhutanese spiritual architecture, combining traditional Buddhist symbolism with extraordinary detail in the murals and statues within. The chorten was specifically constructed following the teachings of the Vajrakilaya ta**ra to dispel negative energies and protect Bhutan from harm, while also honoring the values of compassion and wisdom.

The journey to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal includes a 30-minute hike through paddy fields and lush forests, making it an appealing destination for both spiritual and nature enthusiasts. Its serene location and sweeping views over the valley and the Mo Chhu river make it a popular spot for visitors looking to experience Bhutanese culture and spirituality in a tranquil setting.
