Chumphu Ney is a holy place located under northern part of Paro at 3,100 meters (10,170 ft) above sea level.

It will take about 1 hour drive from Paro town to the starting point of the hike. The hike is around 9 km and will take approximately 5- 6 hours hike and return.

The nature trail runs alongside a babbling river and takes you through ancient, mystical forests. You'll be able to admire the vibrant beauty of wildflowers, serene lakes, towering trees, and lush plant life. The soothing sounds of nature - the murmur of the brook, the melodic bird calls, the rustling leaves - will create a peaceful atmosphere to rejuvenate the mind and body.

I love the forest. It is the perfect place to disconnect and hear yourself better. Away from the noise of the city, the forest offers a sanctuary for reflection, grounding, and finding deep peace.
