不丹中部神袐聖地～燃燒湖｜Bumthang

終於介紹下不丹中部Bumthang ，上年同一班朋友、團友一齊去咗不丹中部嘅燃燒湖。燃燒湖又叫 Burning Lake , 正式名稱係Mebar Tsho，係不丹其中一個重要嘅宗教聖地，亦同不丹著名佛教大師 Pema Lingpa 有關。

傳說以前有人懷疑湖底藏有佛教聖物，Pema Lingpa 於是手持一盞燃燒嘅油燈跳入湖中尋找。之後，佢帶住聖物同一盞仍然燃燒緊嘅油燈返到岸上，所以呢個地方就被稱為「燃燒湖」。到今日，燃燒湖仍然係不少不丹人會去祈福、參拜嘅地方。

我哋由入口慢慢行入去，沿途環境好安靜，四周都係大自然，遊客亦唔多，成個過程令人覺得好舒服、好放鬆。去到湖邊，同行嘅僧人帶領我哋誦經，亦為大家進行咗一個祝福儀式。

大家一齊坐喺湖邊，聽住誦經聲，望住湖水，成個氣氛好平靜，令人慢慢放鬆落嚟。對我嚟講，嗰一刻好安詳、好舒服，亦有一種好神聖嘅感覺。

好多第一次去不丹嘅朋友，都會集中去西部嘅Paro 、Thimphu 同Punakha 。不過，如果你想避開人群，享受一段寧靜啲嘅旅程，其實可以考慮去中部 Bumthang。

呢度遊客相對少啲，景色自然，行程節奏亦冇咁急。如果你想俾自己一段時間真正休息吓、靜一靜，Bumthang 會係一個好選擇。

Burning Lake｜Bumthang

Last year, I visited Burning Lake, also known as Mebar Tsho, in central Bhutan with a group of friends and travellers. It is an important sacred site in Bhutan, with a legend about Pema Lingpa discovering Buddhist treasures with a burning lamp.

A monk travelling with us led prayers and a blessing ceremony by the lake. The peaceful surroundings made the whole experience feel calm, comfortable and sacred.

Many visitors focus on western Bhutan, but if you are looking for peace and fewer crowds, Bumthang is a wonderful place to visit.

【 series- More than Travel 】

在不丹，我們從來不只帶客人去「看景點」，而是帶你走進人與文化之中。

這次在廷布，我們特別安排團友朋友走進全國唯一的音樂博物館，並由不丹著名音樂家 Kheng Sonam Dorji 先生親自接待。他不只是音樂家，更是文化的守護者，對音樂嘅熱誠，同對不丹文化嘅堅持。

更難得的是，他與女兒 Tenzin Wangmo Dorji（曾與國王及王后同框）即場為我們演出——
沒有距離的現場歌聲，加上鋼琴伴奏，是一種很純粹、很真實的感動。

這並不是一般行程會出現的體驗，
而是在地連結與信任，才有機會打開的門。

而就在我們到訪後不久，他們便啟程前往海外演出，令這次相遇更加難得。

亦正正係這些人同故事，令不丹之旅變得有溫度、有靈魂。

In Bhutan, we don’t just bring our guests to see places —

During our time in Thimphu, we arranged a private visit to the country’s only Music Museum, hosted personally by renowned musician Mr. Kheng Sonam Dorji — a respected artist and cultural guardian of Bhutan.

What made it truly exceptional was a live, intimate performance by him and his daughter, Ms. Tenzin Wangmo Dorji (who has appeared with Their Majesties).

A father’s voice, a daughter’s piano — simple, sincere, and deeply moving.

This is not a typical tourist experience.
It is something made possible through genuine local connections and trust.

Shortly after our visit, they departed for an overseas performance — making this encounter even more rare.

This is the Bhutan we curate for our guests:

若果你去過不丹，或者走過喜馬拉雅山一帶，應該都會見過一種「細細粒、白白地」嘅小塔，靜靜咁排喺寺院、山路旁、甚至岩石之上。
呢啲唔係裝飾品，而係叫做「擦擦」（Tsa Tsa）——微型泥佛塔。

佢哋用紅泥或者白泥壓模製成，一個個細緻嘅佛塔形狀，再塗上白色、紅色，甚至貼金。每一個擦擦，其實都可以藏有經文、咒語，甚至骨灰，承載住祝福、祈願同思念。

對當地人嚟講，呢啲細小嘅佛塔唔只係宗教物件，而係一種「留低祝福」嘅方式——為自己、為親人、亦為眾生。

下次再見到佢哋，不妨停低一陣，感受一下呢份靜靜地存在嘅祝福。

If you travel through Bhutan or the Himalayas, you’ll often spot these tiny white stupas quietly placed along temples and mountain paths.

They’re called *Tsa Tsa* — miniature clay stupas made to hold prayers, blessings, and remembrance.

當提起JJ 陽具，好多人覺得面有難色，老尷，尤其是女士，喺不丹文化入面，「陽具」係一種強大嘅吉祥象徵：驅邪、擋煞、招好運，仲有一個非常實際嘅功能——保佑生育。

呢個傳統，源自15世紀一位超級「出位」嘅高僧：竹巴昆列（Drukpa Kunley），人稱「瘋聖」。佢傳教唔講規矩，甚至會用佢嘅「智慧雷霆」（係呀，你冇理解錯）去降伏惡魔、教化眾生。

聽落好癲？但當地人覺得——好work。
最出名嘅地點，就係普納卡附近嘅奇美拉康（Chimi Lhakhang），又叫「求子廟」。去到嗰度，僧侶會用一支木雕陽具輕輕敲你個頭，送上祝福：求子、平安、健康、好運。
畫面有啲衝擊，但氣氛其實好莊嚴。

仲未完—— 喺不丹街頭，你會見到屋企外牆畫滿五顏六色嘅陽具，有啲仲畫到「氣勢澎湃」、加埋緞帶裝飾，就係為了鎮宅、避邪、帶來繁榮。完全不是色情，而是純粹的民間信仰和佛教融合。

當你開始用當地視角去理解，會發現一件事：
有啲我哋覺得尷尬嘅，其實可以好純粹。
呢種反差——先係不丹最迷人嘅地方。

The phallus in Bhutan is an auspicious symbol believed to ward off evil, protect against misfortune, and bring good luck and fertility. This tradition originates from the 15th-century “Divine Madman,” Drukpa Kunley, who used unconventional teachings and symbolically subdued demons with his “Thunderbolt of Flaming Wisdom.”

At Chimi Lhakhang (the Fertility Temple) near Punakha, monks bless visitors by tapping their heads with a wooden phallus, offering prayers for fertility, health, and well-being. Many couples visit to seek blessings for children.

Phallus paintings are also commonly seen on Bhutanese homes, symbolizing protection, prosperity, and the dispelling of evil. Despite their appearance, these symbols are considered sacred and non-sexual.
