The Epitome of Adrenaline Rush! - the tour de dragon -once again Bhutan will witness another sporting and adventure together in one event.

THE MOST AWAITED ONE DAY MOUNTAIN BIKE RACE.

Exactly 66 days left for the most anticipated race of the year, Tour of the Dragon and Dragon’s Fury 2018.

I hope all the racers are geared up at this time of the year.

Tour of the Dragon is not a road bike race or a classic mountain bike race, nor is it a gravel grinder, because it doesn’t fit into any of the categories defined by the International Cycling Union. Since the distance of the race is 200+ km, we would categorize it as an ultra-marathon mountain bike race on roads that happen to be extremely challenging.

Tour of the Dragon starts in Bumthang (Saturday, September 1st, 2018, 2:00 AM,) and travels 268 km over 4 mountain passes before finishing in Thimphu town square.

Tour of the Dragon is not only categorized as of the toughest mountain bike race in the world, but on the course of the race, it also takes you through the mystical and untouched natures of the last known Shangri-la, the Land of thunder Dragon.
We hope that all the enthusiasts’ racers are extensively prepared for the exhilarating race this year.
