Dochula Pass is a mountain pass in Bhutan, about 30 kilometers from Thimphu, at an altitude of 3,100 meters. It features 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens, built to honor soldiers who died in a military operation, and offers stunning views of the Himalayas. The Druk Wangyal Lhakhang temple is also located here, making it a popular spot for both tourists and locals.

This Dzong holds a sacred place in the hearts of all Bhutanese. The one of the largest and oldest Dzong in Bhutan. It is well maintained as it has rich tradition and also being historical place. Punakha is winter residence of the central Monastic body.
It is beautifully located between two rivers of Phochu (male river) and Mochu river (Male river).
