Only in Bhutan do you see moments like this. Their Majesties and the Prime Minister stepping out to make offerings to the 260 newly ordained nuns… and the whole country pauses with them. Traffic stops, people step out onto the road, and everyone moves with such calm and respect.
It’s not just about being a Buddhist country with sacred places. It’s the way people carry it in their hearts and show up together without being asked. Watching everyone come together like this is something you don’t forget.

Thank you to Their Majesties, HH Je Khenpo (Cheif Abbot of Bhutan), the Central Monastic Body, and all the Venerable Lopens, Rinpoches,Trulkus, Khenpos, and masters here in Bhutan and those who travelled from around the world to be part of this Global Peace Prayer. Seeing so many Bhutanese and international devotees gather each day was truly moving. It was a rare moment where blessings from countless lineages and teachers came together in one sacred place at a sacred time, Bhutan was fortunate to host and witness it. Grateful for every presence, every prayer, and the shared spirit of peace and harmony. 🙏✨ Deep appreciation to the organizers for carrying out such an incredible job.

The air in Changlimithang was filled with love, pride, and prayers as thousands gathered to celebrate the 70th birth anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, King Jigme Singye Wangchuck. 🇧🇹✨
From the flutter of the National flag to the cheers of the people, every corner of Thimphu echoed with gratitude for a King whose life has been devoted entirely to his people. His Majesty’s reign shaped modern Bhutan, rooted in compassion, guided by wisdom, and always centered on the happiness of the nation.
As songs of praise and prayers rose in unison, one truth was clear, His Majesty is not only our King but the heart of Bhutan itself. 💛

A leader of compassion would rise for Bhutan.
That prophecy came true.
Born to guide a nation,
Crowned at 16,
He carried Bhutan in his heart.
Every path he walked,
He walked for his people.
Every reform,
Every vision, for our happiness.
He taught us that true wealth
Is not in gold or power,
But in the peace of our minds and hearts.
He gave us Gross National Happiness.
He gave us pride, unity, and hope.
For him, it was always
People first.
Today on 11th November 2025, as our beloved Fourth Druk Gyalpo turns 70,
We offer our deepest gratitude,
Our prayers,
