Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck (born 5 February 2016) is the first child and heir apparent of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck. His name was announced on 16 April 2016. Prior to the announcement, he was known only as The Gyalsey, which means "prince". Before his birth his paternal uncle Prince Jigyel Ugyen of Bhutan was the heir presumptive to King Jigme Khesar Namgyel of Bhutan. In honor of his birth, 108,000 trees were planted by thousands of volunteers in Bhutan.

✨✨Bhutan opened its doors to outsiders in the 1970s, but with more and more tourist visas being issued, we propose a trip sooner rather than later. There is much to learn about this Himalayan kingdom, including how Bhutan measures gross national happiness alongside traditional economic indicators. It’s also the only country to codify specific environmental obligations in its constitution: 60 percent of the country must remain under forest cover. Two annual festivals take place in the fall. The biggest, Thimphu Tshechu, runs for three days of dancing, blessings, and color in the capital. It honors Guru Rinpoche, who brought Buddhism to Bhutan in the eighth century. The Black-Necked Crane Festival takes place on November 11, celebrating the yearly return of migrating black-necked cranes to the sacred Phobjikha Valley wetlands. ✨✨

🌸🌸🌺As much as she is gracefully beautiful, her duty towards nation has been outstanding. Queen Jetsun Pema, born 4 June 1990 is the queen consort (Druk Gyaltsuen, literally meaning "Dragon Queen") of Bhutan, as the wife of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.

🌸🌸Must Visit Place in Thimphu 🌸🌸
**** TASHICHHO DZONG: The Royal Fortress****
It was first constructed in 1216 A.D. by Lama Gyalwa Lhanangpa where Dechen Phodrang now stands above Thimphu.
In 1641 Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal acquired it but finding it too small, he built another one, known as the lower Dzong. The original dzong was destroyed by fire in 1771 and everything was moved to the lower dzong. The new building was later expanded several times over the years. It was damaged during an earthquake in 1897 and rebuilt in 1902. King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck had it completely renovated and enlarged over five years after he moved the capital to Thimpu in 1952 in traditional style using neither nails nor written plans.

Tashichho Dzong has been the seat of the government since 1952 and presently houses the throne room and offices of the king, the secretariat and the ministries of home affairs and finance. Other government departments are housed in buildings nearby.

The dzong is located close to Thimphu town, next to the banks of the Wangchhu River. It is an impressively large structure, surrounded by well-kept lawns and beautiful gardens.

🌺🌺🌻💐🙏The Dochula Druk Wangyel Festival was established in 2011 in commemoration of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo and the Armed Forces’ victory over Indian insurgent forces residing in southern Bhutan in 2003.
🎆🎆💥💥Druk Wangyel Festival is an annual festival held on December 13th at the Druk Wangyal Lhakhang Festival Ground located at Dochula Pass around 22km from the capital city Thimphu. Dochula Pass is one of the most scenic locations in the entire kingdom, offering a stunning panoramic view of the Himalayan mountain range. Set amidst this breathtaking backdrop, the Dochula Druk Wangyal Tsehchu is an experience unlike any other and truely exemplifies Bhutanese cultural traditions.
