Kurjey Lhakhang, located in Bumthang, is one of Bhutan’s most sacred temples. It is associated with Guru Rinpoche, who left his body imprint on a rock while meditating here, giving the temple its name meaning “Body Imprint.” The complex includes three temples built in different periods and is an important pilgrimage and spiritual site, surrounded by a peaceful and scenic valley.
