As the golden sun dipped behind the misty Himalayan peaks, the cyclist coasted into a quiet Bhutanese valley, the cool mountain air brushing gently against his face. After a full day of pedaling through breathtaking trails — winding past ancient monasteries, fluttering prayer flags, and emerald forests — the thrill of discovery lingered in every muscle.

By nightfall, he found himself nestled around a crackling bonfire under a sky full of stars. Laughter echoed among fellow travelers, the warmth of the flames chasing away the chill of the altitude. In his hand, a bottle of cold Bhutanese beer — crisp, refreshing, and well-earned.

With every sip, stories unfolded. Tales of challenging climbs and spontaneous detours, moments of silence with nature, and the kindness of villagers met along the way. As the fire danced and the beer flowed, Bhutan revealed itself not just as a destination, but as a feeling — one of freedom, peace, and pure adventure.

Effective May 1, 2025, all non-Thai travelers entering Thailand are required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) registration within 3 days before arrival.

This new requirement is issued by the Thai Immigration Bureau to ensure a smoother and more efficient arrival process.

Chomolhari , Abode of Goddess Jomo – Punakha

Buddhists believe that it's where Goddess Jomo resides, the protector of the kingdom, and you'll even find a temple by the same name here. Until 1924, people didn't climb up this mountain due to the lore that those who tried would either be thrown or pushed down.
