A lonely chorten somewhere in the wilderness not only blesses the valley but it is a treat to a weary set of eyes and gives comfort to one's thumping heart especially when the journey is through pitch black darkness in the middle of a thick forest and there is no sign of civilization nearby, then suddenly a familiar sight out of nowhere appears by the side of the road. I don't know if it is the chortens mystical power or the familiarity that gives me peace but I am certain that it is magical.
