**THIMPHU, December 17, 2024:**

During the 117th National Day of Bhutan, Kuenselphodrang became the 88th venue in tge world to showcase the work of renowned creative light artist, Gerry Hofstetter. The stunning display of light art captivated onlookers, and images of the event have been shared courtesy of the Department of Tourism, Bhutan.

Kuenselphodrang is home to the world’s largest sitting Buddha, the impressive 177-foot-tall Buddha Dordenma Statue. This iconic landmark provided a breathtaking backdrop for Hofstetter's illuminated artistry.
